Assignment:

Traffic is moving at record speeds since Congress lifted the national speed limit and gave states the same option. Critics say speed kills. Your news director wants a five-part series on the subject. Have there been more accidents since drivers put the pedal to the metal? How many states raised the limit? Which states didn't? Can you compare traffic in Missouri to another state? Who are the leading critics? Who are the proponents? Is business booming for radar traps?
